About Quouch

Quouch is the travel app built for the LGBTQ+ community, connecting queer travellers with hosts, hangouts, and queer-friendly places around the world. We're a small, mission-driven team based in Berlin, building something that genuinely matters to the community.

We're at an exciting point in our journey: a growing user base, a subscription model that's gaining traction, and a product roadmap that touches real people's lives. Now we need an engineer to help us scale it.

The Role

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role.

You’ll be shipping to our Flutter app, keeping our Rails backend stable, and unblocking a small, fast-moving team.

You'll work directly with Nora (founder) and Pau (product, growth), helping turn ideas into shipped features -- without heavy process or long cycles. In practice, that means we'll come to you with a draft feature or flow, you'll assess feasibility, push back where needed, and own getting it to the app stores.

We’ve recently started building with AI tools like Cursor, which means we can move very fast - sometimes drafting entire features or flows in days.

That speed is a huge advantage, but it also means:

you'll play a key role in reviewing that output, shaping architecture decisions, and owning the parts of the system that really need to be solid.

We have to manage the fine line between moving fast without breaking what matters.

What You'll Do
